Corey was my first show dog. I owe Dot and Ken Juby a huge debt of gratitude for putting up with practically a live in novice and taking a chance on
co-owning their pick male from that litter with me.
It took me 5 years to master the coat thing and by then Corey hated showing.
Thank goodness for Tracy Brosque, a Jr. Handler turned Pro, who talked me into giving her a shot at showing him.
Corey went to live with her, in New Hampshire, in May of 1985 and finished his championship in November of that same year.
Corey sired one litter with my next champion Lily. Two puppies from that litter, Ziv Hii Zahri'il and Ziv Hii Amra'il, became near champions, only needing one major to finish.
One didn't finish due to injury and the other to a falling out with the handler.
Also
Ziv Hii Ahjma'il, my pick bitch I should have kept, at age 7 earned her ASFA F.Ch. and also earned her Senior Courser title and Canine Good Citizenship title.
